		<description>The &lt;profile&gt; isn&#039;t the same as your username. If you do the following, you&#039;ll see what the proper profile is:

ls $HOME/.mozilla/firefox/

In there, you&#039;ll see a directory named something that looks pretty random. That&#039;s what you want to use. You could, alternately, just cd to your profile and execute:

echo &quot;FIREFOX_DSP=\&quot;none\&quot;&quot; &gt;&gt; rc

Still, you shouldn&#039;t be having any problems with Flash and Firefox if you&#039;re using a newer distro. This is an old problem, present in 7.10. As far as I can tell, it was fixed in 8.04 and 8.10, and should also still work in 9,.04 when that comes out.</description>

I tried in terminal the first line and worked. In the second line I tried replacing &quot;&lt;profile&gt;&quot; with my user and... nothing. Is there something else that I can do to fix sound in Firefox?</description>
